Budget
The documents considered by the Authority relating to the 2012/13 police budget are available here


Council Tax
The Authority is working against a background of budget cuts. After careful consideration, we decided that a small increase in council tax of 3.94% would maintain frontline policing services and keep the people of Cheshire safe.


Treasury Management Strategy
The Treasury Management Strategy was approved by the Authority on 21 February 2012


Investment Strategy
The Annual Investment Strategy was approved by the Authority on 21 February 2012


Medium Term Financial Strategy
The Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) as approved by the Authority on 21 February 2012 in setting the 2012/13 budget has continued to be developed to inform the setting of the 2012/13 and
subsequent four years' budgets.


Value for Money Strategy
The Authority remains mindful of the need to ensure Value for Money for the residents and council tax payers of Cheshire. The Value for Money Strategy sets out how we aim to achieve this


Estates Strategy
The Estates Strategy sets out how the Authority will ensure that the specialist accommodation that is required to provide effective operational policing as well as support functions is achieved in the most effective, efficient and economical way possible.


Procurement Strategy
The Procurement Strategy summarises the activities of the Strategic Procurement Unit in responding to the demands of change over the last three years and outlines how the Unit will deliver an effective procurement service over the next three years.


Vehicle Fleet Strategy
This Vehicle Fleet Strategy provides an overview of the support supplied by the Fleet Services Department. The document does not provide infinite detail on each of the highlighted services, but is expected to act as a road map indicating how we will support operational policing within the County.


Fees & Charges Handbook
The Authority reviews the charges for police officers' services, together with other services provided by the Constabulary each year. the latest Charges Handbook can be found here. 


Anti Fraud Policy

The Authority undertook a scrutiny review to look at how it could improve on the level and format of performance reporting, to enable it to more effectively fulfil its role in holding the Constabulary to account on performance issues. As part of the work, the public's views were sought on a number of questions, including financial information. A summary of the outcome of the survey can be viewed by following this link
