The Policing Plan
The 2010-13 Policing Plan gives an idea of what you can expect from the police service in Cheshire over the next three years. We have consulted widely with the public, stakeholders and other partner agencies in developing this Plan to ensure that it reflects and addresses their many differing needs and aspirations.

The Plan sets out the policing objectives for the forthcoming year and focuses on those areas of policing which our engagement with the public has highlighted as priority areas.

Both the Authority and Constabulary want to make the people of Cheshire safe and feel safer, and this Plan will direct our resources to enable us to achieve that objective. The Plan aims to continue to address the concerns of the public and improve their confidence in the way policing is delivered at a local level, whilst seeking to release even more efficiencies in the way we currently do our business. The recruitment, retention, motivation and development of the workforce is therefore of vital importance and this strategy highlights how we intend to manage our staff to meet our objectives. This strategy will help inform the strategic direction for human resources in the organisation to ensure that the objectives of the Government's National Policing Plan are met.
