Protocol on Member/Authority & Constabulary officer relations
The Authority on 11 December 2007 adopted a protocol which clearly sets out the appropriate relationship between Members and the Authority's and Constabulary's officers.
Members Register of Interests
Members of the Police Authority are required to complete a register of interests. Individual copies of the Members entry in the register can be accessed by following the link under their name on the list of members. Alternatively, you can request to inspect a copy of the register during normal office hours. Members Register of Gifts & Hospitality

Members' Code of Conduct
All Members of the Police Authority are required to abide by the Code of Conduct whilst in office. A revised Code of Conduct was approved by the Authority on 25 September 2007, together with the adoption of the ten general principles of public life. Members Induction and Development Programme
The Members induction and development programme sets out a number of key issues which it is felt Members need to have knowledge of if they are to effectively fulfil their role on the Police Authority. Pre-Election Conduct Policy
The purpose of this policy is to give guidance to staff and Members on how to conduct themselves during pre-election periods to ensure the Authority’s political impartiality is not called into question. The policy applies to the periods leading up to an election and also the election period itself.
